Can we build a mentally healthier world beyond COVID-19? Students from Didcot Girls School debate
Join us for this debate where we'll hear from year 9 students at Didcot Girls school as they discuss the question of whether we can build a mentally healthier world post-COVID-19?
We'll be hearing from young people themselves on the topic of how ambitious we can and should be about young people's mental health as we emerge from this current crisis.
This debate marks the culmination of a 6 week training programme led by Debating Mental Health in collaboration with the Emerging Minds network and supported by the University of Oxford's Public Engagement in Research Seed Fund.
Twelve year 9 students at Didcot Girls schools have been supported by Debating Mental Health to build their confidence, skills and viewpoints. Students have been considering topics around children & young people's mental health (including interviewing mental health researchers from the Emerging Minds network.
We had hoped to host this debate in a lovely venue in Oxford to make it very special for our participants. This final debate is now being held online so we'd love you to join us to help mark and celebrate the end of their programme!
